Eye Pillow

This gorgeous handmade eye pillow is unscented, made of 100% cotton fabric, double layered and filled with organic buckwheat. Eye pillows are useful for relaxation, sore eyes and alleviating headaches and migraines.

How to use:

Use at room temperature lay down and place over your eyes. 

Cold compress 

Place in a sealed plastic bag in the refrigerator or freezer for at least 30 minutes. 

Using as a mini heat pack:

*To be used elsewhere on your body avoid face

1.  Remove heat pack from packaging.

2.  Clean microwave before use.

3.  Place heat pack in the center of the microwave ensuring it does not obstruct the turntable. Make sure the heat pack is flat and filling is evenly distributed. 

4.  Never heat the heat pack for more than 30 seconds. Repeat process with 15 second intervals until you have reached your desired temperature.

5.  Remove carefully from microwave. The heat pack will be warm after heating, handle with care.

5.  Gently shake the heat pack to evenly distribute the buckwheat. Check the temperature is comfortable before use.

6.  Allow the heat bag to cool completely before reheating and/or before storage on a non-combustible surface such as the kitchen sink.

Overheating

If overheating occurs there may be a burning smell or charring and in extreme cases smoking. Wheat over time will dry out and start to emit a cooked/burnt smell. This is letting you now that it is time to replace your heat pack as fire can occur from an old over used heat pack that is continually over-heated.

Heating Instructions:

1.  Remove heat pack from packaging.

2.  Clean microwave before use.

3.  Place heat pack in the center of the microwave ensuring it does not obstruct the turntable. Make sure the heat pack is flat and filling is evenly distributed. 

4.  Never heat the heat pack for more than 1 minute at a time. Repeat process with 30 second intervals until you have reached your desired temperature.

5.  Remove carefully from microwave. The heat pack will be hot after heating, handle with care.
